Trying to keep up

Being a mom keeps me busy, I have to change diapers, keep up with messes, and nag kids to stop climbing on things. On top of everything else. Any mom can tell you its tiring after chasing the kids all day long, but when you get sick it makes it even harder. I am sitting here ready to go to bed it's almost 8 now. I was ready to go to bed at 6:30 but ended up just laying down trying to give my body rest without sleeping and making it that much harder to go to sleep tonight. Your day is just exhausting when you are sick, and you have no energy to do anything for yourself by the time you get all the kids in bed and asleep. All I want to try to do is maybe watch a show off my DVR and then go to bed, I am just not sure I am going to last longer than 9 tonight. One up side to this is I have been dealing with insomnia from this pregnancy so maybe I can actually get a whole night of sleep!

Welcome to my blog

Welcome to my blog! I decided to start this blog to start sharing my stories of being a mom to my boys. Everyday I seem to be chasing them around trying to keep up. I have my oldest that just started Kindergarten so this is going to be my first year having a school aged child and hopefully getting involved with their activities. I have a 2 year old that definately keeps me constantly moving, and of course we are going through the terrible 2's. I am also pregnant with another little boy and I am due in December, but we are expecting a November delivery because of my history, and problems during the last trimester. I am definately outnumbered, between all these boys, and my husband. I have no idea what adventures I have coming with all these boys. All I can do is plan for the upcoming milestones I know are ahead. I get to tackle potty training again soon, I get to start helping my oldest with homework, and hoping he makes good friends and doesn't have to deal with bullies. I have to finish digging through baby clothes again to get ready for the next little one. I definately have my handsful, but its fun to be a mom. I wouldn't give up all that I do for anything. As I say that I need to go change a poopy diaper and maybe see if I can get a nap out of this little guy, maybe I can catch up on a little sleep too. :)
